branches up with. They stood bare in the autumn air, their arms shivering when a wind would fall gracefully against them. The sound the leaves made when people walked through them. A crunching sound some would say. But it was a unique sound. A sound that reminded you that autumn was here and that summer had said its good bye and wouldn't be back for another year. Imogen walked steadily through the local park. Wherever she went, she would walk among the tree's leaves. The trees watched on sadly, seeing this girl walk among its clothes that had been pulled off their branches. But Imogen loved walking through the leaves. As she walked, she liked to look down and smile whenever she heard that unique sound. She would've kicked the leaves as well, but that was what you did as a child, not a as a fourteen year old.She stopped for a moment and looked straight a head. She slipped her bare, cold hands into her new peach coloured jacket that she had got only the other Saturday as a treat from her grandmother and closed her eyes. Her long, brown silky hair danced freely behind her in the light autumn wind. If only I could go back in time Imogen thought to herself and see what this park would've been like a hundred years ago.Imogen had done this a lot lately. In her room she wondered what would've been in her room a hundred years ago or who would've sat in it. A painter? A writer? Who would know? Her grandmother had lived in the house she lives in for twenty years. She had also lived in the house as a baby but of course she couldn't remember that far back. She had asked her grandmother once if she knew who had once lived here but she didn't know. How could she?
